Today Gene and I hiked up Badger Mountain, a hill near Richland. I had been wanting to go on a short hike for some time now but had always put it off. Well today is so nice we made a decision and went.
It took is about 40 minutes to get to the top of the hill. That was us going at our own pace, not worrying about going as fast as possible. I had such a pleasant time. It is so nice to get out of the house and get some fresh air. And the weather was fantastic for a short hike. Granted, it was a bit windy on the way down but only towards the top of the hill.
I took two good panoramic shots of the view at the top. Of course it’s much prettier in real life, but what can ya do?
After the hike we got Subway and then headed to the Columbia River to enjoy another view and to eat lunch. We were going to read a bit but we thought it might not be warm enough for an extended stay just sitting so we walked for a bit and then headed back home.
If anyone is in the Richland/TriCities area and wants a to go on a short hike, I suggest Badger Mountain. It’s not that difficult, you can do it in less than an hour, and the view is very pretty.
