This afternoon, Gene and I rode our bikes to a park nearby called Expo Park. I’ve driven by it a few times but had never stopped. It’s only takes 10 minutes to bike there and the park is so beautiful. I miss the park I went to when I lived in Washington so when Expo Park reminded me of that one, I was happy.
It’s a large park with a baseball field, a couple of ponds, and a frisbee golf course. I’d like to go again and walk around. I bet it’s lovely once the leaves change colors.
The day was, and is, so beautiful that my mood cannot be squashed. Today is a fantastic fall day. The bike ride to the park was even nice. I felt like I was in a completely different world.
I love Colorado.
