As part of my current 30 day challenge, I am doing Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred videos throughout the week.
The exercises that she has chosen to do in these videos are generally manageable and helpful for me to gain a bit of muscle but I have an issue with her.
I’ve noticed that when she says how many more reps we need to do, she doesn’t actually start counting when she makes the statement. So she’ll say something like, “10 more jumping jacks” and then we’ll do two or three and then she’ll start counting down to 10.
Oh my gosh, it’s so annoying. Don’t tell me 10 more and then we end up doing 12. If you want me to do 12 more, that’s fine, but tell me 12. It’s a lie telling me 10. It just annoys me so much, it’s kind of amazing how much it gets to me.
Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if she only did it once or twice but it happens in every video, multiple times! Argh. I’ve decided that after this 30 day challenge I probably won’t do her videos ever again. Sorry Jillian, but I just can’t handle it.
