During my spring break I broke out the washi and played around with a few things. First I tried to cover a blank canvas with the tape but it wasn’t looking as awesome as I wanted it to so that was scrapped. I didn’t want to trash all of the tape I had already cut so I decided to put it on my toothbrush holder. Now, you should know that my toothbrush holder is just a shower ring plastic jar. It’s the container that the rings to hold the shower curtain came in. I decided I could use that to hold toothbrushes instead of actually buying a real one. It’s done quite well for a few years now but let’s be honest, it’s bland since it’s just a see through piece of plastic.
I had toyed around with the idea of putting washi tape on it for a while so decided this was the perfect day to do it.
It was so simple and was done in less than 15 minutes. I kept reapplying the washi tape because I didn’t think I had it on straight, otherwise it would have taken me much shorter of a time.
I think it turned out great! My toothbrush holder now looks a bit more professional and it helps bring some color into the bathroom. Whatever shall my next washi tape project be?!
Oh my goodness!!! ADORABLE!!! Love it! Did you know that the dollar store now sells washi tape?
I didn’t! I’m going to have to go and check that out!
