Gene is gone. He’s visiting his family until Sunday. And while I’m so glad he gets to do that, I have found that on the first evening I’m alone, I don’t quite know how to fill my time. So, the schedule-loving person that I am has started to create a schedule for myself.
One of the items on there was to go on a walk. I skipped the gym today (although it would have been a good idea, I’ll admit) so I thought not only would a walk take up some time but it would also get me moving a bit. I took a couple of pictures while I was out there too.
It was an interesting walk because about 10 or 15 minutes into it I started to hear thunder. For some reason I didn’t even think about turning around, instead I just tried to walk a bit faster. Somehow I got lucky and it didn’t start sprinkling until I was walking in the parking lot towards my apartment. The sky was pretty awesome during that whole time though. I even saw a rainbow.
Two of the pictures I took I added filters to. I don’t normally manipulate a photo so much but with Gene gone, I’m going wild! Hehe. The picture above is the first one I changed up.
Here’s the second picture I manipulated. When I saw the rabbit, he just looked so grand, I felt like I had to take a picture. There was something about him. I don’t normally find larger rabbits cute (I’m way more of a bunny person), but this rabbit caught my eye. I hope he’s warm and dry out there.
So now I’m back from my walk and am about to have dinner. It’s 7:30 PM already so I think I’m doing pretty well for myself. I wonder what the rest of the evening will bring. I’m thinking TV, Wildstar, and some reading?
Love the pictures – keep experimenting!
