On Sunday Gene and I went to Marvel Live, a live event in the Pepsi Center where we watched a show with some of the iconic superheros. Spiderman, Ironman, Thor, Captain America, and Black Widow all made appearances. We were treated to motorcycle chases, fighting, and people flying in the air. It seemed to be more geared toward kids, which I wasn’t expecting (although perhaps I should have) but it was still enjoyable. It was kind of fun to see all the kids dressed up in their superhero gear and t-shirts and waving flashing swords throughout the show.
I even treated myself to a t-shirt! I’ve wanted a superhero t-shirt for a while now, probably since I watched the first Avengers movie a few years ago. So this time I figured why not, I got a raise, I can afford a $30 shirt. So I splurged.
Pippin approved of the purchase as it meant he had a new hiding spot to hang out in.
Having fun times in Colorado, it’s so nice that moving here almost four years ago (!) really worked out. And today I got a snow day, who could ask for more?!
