Today my dad and I visited a couple of plant nurseries so I could get more of an idea of what I would like to do with my front yard.
My goal is to turn my yard into a xeriscape one, where I don’t have any grass. I’ve been doing some preliminary research online the past couple of weeks and originally intended on going to the Home and Garden show this weekend but found out it’s more “home” than “garden”. So we decided to visit nurseries instead.
I think we were a couple months early as there weren’t that many plants available. Still, it was a lot of fun (we even stopped by our old house) and it helped me get a better idea of what I need to do to prepare for an overhaul of my yard.
Huge rocks? Yes, please! Although I’m not in love with the price…
