Just Lauren

This morning I held a reddit brunch meetup at The English Tea Cup, a British restaurant and store. Although only Josh and Brittany (my two closest friends from reddit) showed up it was still a fun experience. I ordered the cucumber sandwich and potato leek soup. Both were pretty tasty, but especially the soup. We ended the brunch with scones, clotted cream, and strawberry jam. That was my favorite part. 🙂

I bought some classic British digestive biscuits to munch on and dip into milk. I’d like to go back soon to grab some of their jam and scone mix. They have loads of goods from England including giant Cadbury eggs for Easter, Lion bars, and jelly babies. How fun that this place is right in Aurora, less than 10 minutes away from me!
