This weekend Gene and I went to visit my parents in Colorado Springs. On Saturday we drove down to Mueller State Park where we went for a short hike. The trail was still covered in snow for the most part but we found our way. I’ll be glad when the snow has melted though, it makes hiking a bit more difficult and slow-going.
Mueller has multiple camp spots and even has a few cabins that you can rent. They have 55 miles of hiking trails which makes it a great place to go back to in the summer. Although I imagine it does get busy during the warmer seasons, I bet it’s not nearly as busy as the Rocky Mountain National Park, which these days is crowded from 6am to dusk. It was a fun day and I’m glad to have gotten out of the house!
Loved having all 3 of you here!
