I feel like I have been so busy the past few days that I have had no time to write a blog post. On Saturday we went to Washington Park. It was my first time, amazingly. It’s only 20 minutes from the house and is quite beautiful that I wonder why we never went there before. I laughed though when we saw how many people were at the park solely to take family pictures. All of the pictures in this post are from this park. I like the two flower pictures because I didn’t edit them at all and I think they look pretty cool.

On Sunday we went to Cheesman Park, a new addition to the parks I enjoy going to. It was my second time going and it was just as enjoyable. We stopped at the same place as last time and played the game Concept for a bit. Concept is a game that Lydia brought with her. It’s basically pictionary for people that don’t or can’t draw. After playing only twice we’ve gotten quite good at it.

We played again yesterday and also played Wise and Otherwise. That’s a game I really like. I feel like everyone is good at it, even if you can’t think of an amazing ending (you write endings to sayings).

And tonight my parents stopped by for dinner! My dad works in Denver now and my mom drove up from Colorado Springs so we could all spend some time together. It was so nice to see them. 

Gene and I are taking off work tomorrow so we can go hiking and spend some more time with Lydia.
