Can’t always have positive days but I can definitely try. Today, I went to a funeral. It was sad because it was in remembrance of a girl who died way too young. The service was beautiful though and that made it a little better, although death can never truly be a happy thing. My coworkers and team were all very nice and comforting, which made the day brighter.
I generally enjoy the little things in my life but today I had to really focus to find them. I had a lollipop on my way to pick up Gene from work and I listened to more of the D&D podcast.
When I got home I was greeted with a delivery of the spice jars I had purchased. It means that soon our spice drawer will be even more awesome and tidy. Oh how I love organizing. Pippin then jumped into the empty box, making everyone smile. Life definitely sucks sometimes but there is so much good and fun and love in it too. I mean, who doesn’t want to spend more time with the guy below? 😉
