Just Lauren

Welp, I wasn’t as over the cold as I thought I was. I woke up at 1am last night basically unable to breathe through my nose. After 10 minutes of trying to quietly exercise on the floor while Gene slept, I went downstairs and proceeded to be awake for the next 2 1/2 hours. I did finally fall asleep on the couch for a couple hour’s sleep. This morning I was groggy and tired and so I took a sick day. I have a month’s worth of sick days so that’s good, should use them when I need them, right? Really hope I can kick this thing by tomorrow, not being able to breathe normally sucks. 

In happier news, yesterday Sidney and I hung up the poster we had made a “frame” for a couple weekends ago. We put it at the top of the stairs and I quite like it. It’s the poster we bought for Adrian Bliss’ Vlune YouTube series back in June and it’s been sitting next to Elisabeth’s desk for MONTHS now. So glad we got it up so we can see the inspirational (and silly) messages that Adrian shared with the world.

Because we put the poster at the top of the stairs, it meant we had to move the individual Wildstar character pieces I had up there. We decided they would look great next to the Sidney’s Wildstar art hanging above Gene’s desk. I think it looks quite nice. I love my house!
