This morning the housemates and I hopped in the car and we drove through Guanella Pass to see the fall colors. There were many beautiful spots and I quite enjoyed myself, especially since Sidney drove through the pass so I could stick my head out the window the whole time. It’s hard to determine the best time to see the leaves changing but I think we did pretty well this time around.
We went the opposite way we did last year so we ended in Georgetown, allowing us to stop for a break and grab some treats at Cake LLC, a bakery that Gene had found online. It was a great choice. I got soup, a croissant, and a chocolate chip cookie. All were delicious. Everything was so good that we went home with two whole pies. I know what I’m having tonight!
