First day back and it was great – over a week out and I came back to only 55 emails, half of them being spam. Can you say stress-free day?
Not only that, but I started the morning with an absolutely gorgeous moon. Wow was it giant, bright, and vivid. No one could be upset after seeing that masterpiece. My camera is not quite good enough to capture a picture so I hope everyone else got to see it like I did.
My actual work day was decent – someone brought in baklava, only three other coworkers came in to work, and I got to check out A Wrinkle in Time. While I’m currently reading a book and have another on my “I definitely need to read it right now” list, I will have to make room for A Wrinkle in Time. I wanted to reread the book ever since I saw Disney is making a movie out of it. I kind of want to see the movie, even though the trailer clearly shows it won’t be the exact same story (of course). We’ll see what happens.
Regardless, I do not think I could have asked for a better day back.
