Smoothies for days!

IMG_20180411_070313.jpgI’ve been getting tired of cereal for breakfast so I decided I needed to find another option. I decided to purchase myself a personal blender so I could make smoothies! I really like smoothies but I don’t have them often because either of the cost or because I’m not in places that serve them. Now, both of those reasons are null and void as I have my own blender right at home.

The cup is WAY larger than I thought it would be so I’ve been splitting the smoothie with Gene. While I thought I might miss the ice cream part of a smoothie, it turns out yogurt is a perfect substitution as long as I include frozen fruit. I’m very pleased with how the results are turning out. I’ve got a combination down I really like and so far it’s been a great addition to my day. It’s definitely more filling than cereal and I can take it in the car.

    1. I’ll totally make you a smoothie! I put in frozen mixed fruit from Costco (peaches, mangos, pineapple, and strawberries), half a banana, yogurt, and orange juice. It’s so tasty!
