Painting

Little easel

Tuesday I stayed after work to take part in Canvas & Croix – a painting class with La Croix to drink instead of wine. One of my teammates asked me to go with her and since I had wanted to go to the ones in the past, I said yes. What a great decision. The painting was right up my alley – aurora borealis inspired sky with mountains in the foreground. The painting may not have turned out exactly how I wanted, as these things go, but I’m really quite happy with it and I enjoyed painting it. I haven’t quite figured out how to paint mountains yet so I’ll have to give it another go sometime soon. Good thing is I have lots of board to paint on and paints that Lydia left with me so I can try it out at home.

The picture of my painting really doesn’t show how lovely it is, the colors are more rich in real life. So feel free to come over and check it out!
