For a while now Gene has wanted to put up a hammock. But for one reason or another, mostly laziness and forgetfulness I suppose, we haven’t done it. We didn’t even have to buy a hammock, he had one from his college days that just sat in the basement for all these years. I decided that 2019 was the year we put it up and so last weekend, Gene and I went to Lowe’s to get wall and ceiling hooks. A bit of elbow grease (a bunch, actually, that ceiling hook is really in there) and the hammock is up. It’s been well received thus far from Gene and Sidney. I’ll have to give it a try as I only sat in it once for a minute to test it out. If we all like it enough we may have to consider setting more up. Only time will tell.
