Yesterday I worked from home so someone would be there when Gene’s new phone was delivered! His now old phone has been cracked for at least a year, maybe longer, and it finally got bad enough that Gene decided he should start looking for a new one. A month or so later, he found a deal he liked, and now he has a Google Pixel 3. He even bought a case for it. I’m very proud of him. So it was nice working from home, I got some cleaning done and stayed in my exercise clothes for longer than perhaps I should have. It also meant that I had time to make chocolate chip cookies before the housemates and I rushed off to watch Avengers: End Game.
I’m still trying to figure out what I think about the movie other than “intense” and “emotional”. I won’t say any more to avoid spoilers. I didn’t get home until after 10pm last night so that’s telling you something about how dedicated I am to the Marvel universe.
Gene also finished his cross stitch yesterday and it looks fantastic. He even found and purchased a frame for it. I helped him finish it up after we got back from the movies so that he could take it to work today. He’s getting so good at cross stitching, his stitches are all so uniform, his latest piece looks beautiful.
I also watered my succulents, they seem to be doing really well in the new soil I made for them, it makes me happy. I also used my new soil moisture reader to confirm that they needed watering and to check that I watered them enough. I felt very plant educated, using my reader and my new succulent watering bottle. I’m really enjoying these plants.
