We have made it to our airbnb in Victoria, BC! Took a plane, a car, and a ferry to get here but we got here. Our plane took off over an hour late but thankfully we still got to the ferry in time, partly in thanks to our awesome friend, Doug, who met us at the airport with Lydia’s car and whom we left within minutes, in hopes that his wife, Sandy, would pick him up. Thanks Sandy and Doug, you made our transition from airport to car extremely seamless and stress free.
The ferry ride was pleasant and I loved getting to watch the San Juan Islands go by. Had a lot of fun standing outside watching the water and scenery. Now we’re in Victoria and going to the Butchart Botanic Gardens tomorrow and having tea somewhere in town. It will be a lovely day!
